Learn more about how Empower Sleep works.
Getting treatment with Empower Sleep is simple.
Our products and services are designed based on up-to-date science and research. For example, a leading scientific study (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32081650/) found that one night of sleep testing is not as accurate as three nights.
We work directly with a medical equipment partner, BetterNight. They will reach out to you via email and phone once they process your order to schedule delivery and setup.
We have a team of sleep doctors who are fellowship-trained and/or board-certified in Sleep Medicine.
As a general rule, we are not prescribing controlled substances. There are case-by-case circumstances where stimulants (Modafinil) or sedative-hypnotics (Zolpidem/Ambien) have been prescribed for certain sleep disorders after a home sleep test is complete. If they are prescribed, they are only for a 30-day period.
To maintain transparent pricing and seamless customer experience, we are not accepting most insurances. However, you can use insurance for your CPAP machine and prescription medications.
Yes - That's the goal! You can receive the standard of care therapy, which is covered by insurance. There are nuances with co-payments and deductibles - these are individual to your specific plan.
All of our sleep testing is FDA-approved. The majority of our sleep testing is completed using Sleep Image, which uses cardiopulmonary coupling to determine sleep apnea severity. Depending on the clinical circumstances we can use other sleep tests as well, including WatchPat, NightOwl and Dream Clear.
We have a national network of sleep labs that are credentialed by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
